Welcome to Seasons of Life Acupuncture! Robyn (she/her) is a trauma-informed, sex positive acupuncturist and herbalist committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for people of all ages, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities/expressions, body sizes, neurodivergence, socioeconomics, and nature of "dis-ease." With the ancient wisdom of East Asian medicine and a strong belief in the radical liberation of all people, Robyn hopes to midwife others through major transitions and developmental stages throughout the seasons of our lives.

Robyn has more than 35 years’ experience educating and counseling women about reproductive health including menstruation, contraception, fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, breastfeeding, transitioning into parenthood, peri-menopause, menopause, and trauma. 

Robyn believes in the Taoist concept of the interconnectedness of all Beings. She most enjoys working with people who are interested in becoming more fully their unique selves. Providing a safe, accepting space to explore, grow, heal and change is at the heart of Robyn's love and practice of East Asian medicine.

Robyn understands that death is a natural and important part of life. She supports the dying person alongside palliative and hospice care. Acupuncture (or acupressure if needles are not well-tolerated) can provide relief and comfort from the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual pain that sometimes accompanies the dying process. Robyn also supports family members as they go through their own process of loss and grief.

Robyn holds master's degrees in Applied Healing Arts, Acupuncture, and East Asian Herbal Medicine, as well as a post-graduate certificate in Women's Holistic Health from the University of Maryland Integrative Health, formerly Tai Sophia Institute. She also holds a certificate from the National Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncturists, and has taken extensive continuing education classes supporting mental/emotional health and well-being, trauma recovery, managing perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms, and caring for the LGBTQ+ community.
